Back Hi,
How you created with boot disks? From cd? I guess an old attempt of installation failed that's it's giving you this error also it's possible that you media CD is corrupt.
Make sure that you cd's working fine and system is actually booting from floppy or hitting hdd directly check the boot sequence in bios.

Hi All
I have tried to install a version of enigma on an old PC the configuration of the PC follows:
Pentium-S 200 Mhz 49152 Mb Ram 4Gb - SCSI HDD AHA 1540CR SCSI controller HITACHI CDR-7730 (See http://CDR-7730.ora-code.com) - IDE CDROM S3 65 Virge Graphic Card Serial Mouse
I started the installation by booting the computer into DOS and running the autoboot.bat found in \dosutils on the CD.
I get a list of text then a blue screen followed by:
Running anaconda - please wait... Install exited abnormally -- recieved signal 11 (unmounts devices and stop with the following message) you may safely reboot your system
When installation tried from a boot floppy, the installation end with the following:
kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel
Can anyone help.
Thanks James
