I use it at work and at home.  Works fine and is _much_ easier than sendmail
to configure.  Documentation is a liitle sparse but there are good example
configs at www.postfix.org .

For this you will need IMAP and/or POP as well.  I've found courier IMAP and
squirrelmail work pretty well together on RH 7.2.= for web-based mail
