7.2/kde questions

7.2/kde questions

Gang:

2 questions about 7.2/kde:

1. The "KDE Gear" menu, when it pops up, has a section at the top of
what apparently is frequently used commands. How can I remove items
from that section, or add others to it? I can't find where that setting
is configured. Clues?

2. this one really irritates me: There's this popup that has the name
"Web-URL" at the top of it, that appears in the lower right corner of
my screen every time I do anything that highlights a string of text
that resembles a URL. E.g., if I'm in a browser and I double or triple
click the address bar to highlight what is there so I can overtype it
with something else, this darn thing pops up and I can't proceed with
what I'm doing until I either press ESC or click on cancel to get rid
of it. I haven't figured out what package it is part of or how to get
rid of it, but it sure is a nuisance.

thanks!
