After you turn off html formatting of your email, at least when sending to a mailing list, you should install:
mysql (required by all the rest) mysql-server (to host databases on your server) mysql-client (to access mysql databases)
The *-devel packages are generally only needed if you re-compile things. It doesn't hurt to install them, though, except for taking up disk space.
