The fix is downloading the drivers from the Realtek site at:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloads1-3.aspx?Keyword=rtl8180

Give that a try... As far as the configuration goes... Not sure on that one, I
have to go home and test some stuff out first. But I can bring up the wlan0
interface without errors!! Wooooo hoooo!
