Have you made a hardware change/upgrade ?
Some BIOS setting modified ...?
If you did, check your cables...BIOS...

If you didn't any hardware change, probably your hard disk has a
failure.

Try to boot from your Linux RedHat CD #1 passing "emergency"
option to kernel, try to verify disk integrity using fsck.
