I assume this implicitly means that "Professional Workstation " is equivalent in package set to "RHEL 3 WS ".
For a developer who doesn 't need support and uses mysql-server, what is the recommended distro as an upgrade to RHL 9 (which included mysql-server)? Is the only solution to download the SRPM and recompile? Seems a bit unnecessarilly inefficient. I assume this may be a "sales " question, but there was at least one other person asking similar questions (maybe on the beta list). The beauty of RHL 9 was that it included basically everything, I these issues didn 't even exist.
This shouldn 't be taken as complaining, only a search for understanding. I would imagine the new shifts w/ package changes, killing of RHL, fedora, etc are still a work in progress.
