Is the RHCE curriculum moving to RHEL 3?

Is the RHCE curriculum moving to RHEL 3?

So, since Red Hat Linux no longer exists as a product, can we assume
that RHCE will be moving towards RHEL 3? It seems unlikely that it
would switch to Fedora Core, given the "hobbyist " audience that Red Hat
has stated for Fedora.

The RHCE faq says this:

"The RHCE Exam has been updated within 3 weeks of retail release for
each new version of Red Hat Linux, across 10 versions: 5.2, 6.0, 6.1,
6.2, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 8.0, 9 "

So will we be seeing a shift to RHEL 3 shortly, or will it remain on 9
for a while?

While I feel that RHCE fits in well with the RHEL product, it is also
unfortunate that students studying for RHCE will have to purchase at
least $349 worth of software to study, in addition to the $749 cost of
the exam. Over $1000 for a certification is very expensive.
