We were using hdparm -t, as well as tiobench. Overall performance seems=20 ot be around 12~20MB/s

[root@(protected) data1]# time dd if=3Dbigfile of=3Dsecondfile 2048000+0 records in 2048000+0 records out =20 real 0m55.419s user 0m1.530s sys 0m24.570s
This is a hardware mirror of 2 10K rpm Seagate 73gig u320 drives.
Thats like 18M/s, not very stellar.
