still contains the bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=102535 which allows any user who can run mmap() and ptrace() to "hang " at least one CPU (prevent progress of execution in user mode.) If you run a kernel built from that source and allow users to run gdb, then be prepared to push the reset button, wait for a power failure, or be adept with SysRq.
