Back Hypothetically speaking, suppose Joe Blow walked up to you and handed you copies of RHELv3 AS CDROMs.
If Joe Blow had and agreement with RH, he would be in violation, but what would your obligation be if any to:
* Installing and using the software * Creating and redistribution binary isos from the CDROMs?
According to
http://www.redhat.com/licenses/rhel_us_3.html
it says,
"IF CUSTOMER DOES NOT ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, THEN IT MUST NOT USE OR PURCHASE RED HAT PRODUCTS AND SERVICES. "
I can understand the "MOST NOT PURCHASE ", but how can the "MUST NOT USE " apply?
If you don 't accept the terms of the agreement, how can you be bound by a term (MUST NOT USE) of the agreement?
Finally, was this "MUST NOT USE " provision always in there? I could swear I read the agreement a couple months ago and it wasn 't there.
Just curious,
Dax Kelson
