After installing a fresh RHEL3 system and doing a full up2date -u --force
(over riding the skip kernel option) I receive the following error anytime
I try and run 'up2date -u ':
RPM package conflict error. The message was:
Test install failed because of package conflicts:
package kernel-2.4.21-4.0.1.EL is already installed
I have tried rpm -e 'ing this package and then re-installing it... but the
end result is the same.
Any ideas?
