Folks,

As an alternative to RHEL 3 ES -

It seems to be possible to purchase RHEL 3 WS or Red Hat Professional Workstation - and then build and install the source code for
the extra packages from the first RHEL 3 ES CD (e.g. bind, dhcp, ftp servers)

Are there any limitations to this option? I don 't see any limitations in the Red Hat license, but maybe I missed something.

I assume that there would be no Red Hat support for this option - at least for the packages downloaded from source - but would this
invalidate Red Hat support for the rest of the OS?
