I 'm running RHEL3WS on a laptop, since moving to the kernel-2.4.21-9.EL
I 've found that running VMware Workstation 4.0.5 (or 4.5-beta-rc1) has
become near to impossible. (The vmware-config.pl has been applied
for the respective and proper kernel).
The VMware process hogs the cpu, and making the program extremely
unresponsive. This disappears when I move back to 2.4.21-4.0.2.EL
kernel.
Has anyone seen similar behaviour since moving to the newer kernel ?
