I asked our Samba maintainer today what the status was on this issue. He
told me that given the number of bugs (and regressions) found in 3.0.1,
he was planning on making an errata to 3.0.2 as soon as it comes out and
can be tested. 3.0.2rc1 came out on Friday, so it shouldn 't be long now.
He 's put 3.0.2rc1 RPMs on people.redhat.com for folks to try out.
