I 've now also installed the kernel that came on the Taroon-beta CD,
kernel-2.4.21-6.EL, and I can now test the VMware against this kernel.
All the other parts of the system (glibc, gcc) are from the Taroon Update
1 release.

After about 20 minutes usage of VMware Workstation 4.0.5 (Build 6030) on the
kernel-2.4.21-6.EL, I also have the same cpu allocation problem as with
2.4.21-9.EL but not with 2.4.21-4.0.2.EL

Bugzilla: kernel-2.4.21-9.EL and VMware Workstation 4.0.5 performance.
