Is it really possible to install Oracle 9.2R2 on AS3 ?
We need to use the perl module DBD::Oracle on an AS3 server, the Oracle
database is on another server at another site.
It clearly seems to be rather complicated to install Oracle so that
DBD::Oracle can be built. As far as I understand patches to the free
Oracle 9.2 download is needed to actually install under AS3 and these
patches does not seem to be available without an Oracle support contract.
Is this correct?
The AS3 machine in question has an academic license.
