I have installed the following packages using up2date:
mysql-3.23.58-1
php-mysql-4.3.2-8.ent
mod_auth_mysql-20030510-1.ent
mysql-devel-3.23.58-1

I cannot find mysqld anywhere on the system and as a result cannot start
mysql. Does Red Hat 's mysql package work? Have I done something wrong?
