Back Reuben,
Look in /proc/scsi/scsi. This will give you a complete list of your scsi
attached drives, their channel, id and LUN.

That is what I suspect. Any suggestion for the diagnostic tool?
But I 'm not exactly sure which disk is failing. I have 3 SCSI disk
(sda,sdb,sdc). sda has 4 partition (1,2,3 <swap >,5), sdb and sdc has only 1
partition each.
The complete message in /var/log/messages says:
SCSI disk error : host 0 channel 0 id 2 lun 0 return code = 8000002
So I google for a while and read about SCSI addressing in
http://www.linux.com/howtos/SCSI-2.4-HOWTO/scsiaddr.shtml
but I still don 't
get it. Which one of the disks is failing?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
