Hi all,
I created my own custom kernel 2.4.21-4.ELcustom for RHEL 3.
After booting into that kernel, i m having troubles loading my modules..
# insmod -n mymod.o
mymod.o: kernel-module version mismatch
mymod.o was compiled for kernel version 2.4.21-4.ELsmp
while this kernel is version 2.4.21-4.ELcustom.
Is there anything special I can do that my modules will load on all
2.4.21.4.El kernels having different names.
Also going forward to Update 1, will I get similar problems installing my
modules on the new 2.4.21.9.El kernel???
