If there is any syntax error then the server will not start. Would you
let us know what is on line 264 and then we may be able to say what is
wrong with it. Which version of apache/linux is this on?
Usually, ServerName is not needed and it is commented out by default.
You would only need it if it is different from the DNS name. What IP
address and DNS name have you got for your computer network interface
(presumably ethernet or serial port)?
