Back Dear All,
I have installed Redhat 9.0 on a Dell 's poweredge server, and installed
Bind 9.2.1. The named daemon startups fine, and I can resolve hostnames,
and IP addresses.
But for some reasons when I issue the following command "service named
stop " it does not stop, and the only way to restart it is to kill the
named PID.
Note that both commands "service named start, and status " are fine.
What seems to be causing the daemon not to stop.
Best Regards
MH
