The redhat supplied sendmail.mc contains the feature:
FEATURE(use_cw_file)dnl
This configures sendmail to look at /etc/mail/local-host-names to determine
what e-mail will be delivered locally. i.e.
mydomain.tld
Please see /usr/share/sendmail-cf/README. Search for all instances of
local-host-names.
