I know nothing about multichannel cards. But I think it woiuld be
treated as a single card with LF, RF, LR, RR instead of the normal L and R.
Check the alsa web site, or their mailing lists.

Again, I don't think so. But I could be wrong. The alsa lists would be
the best place to learn more.

I did see something in the 2.6 kernel docs abot CMIPCI cards, but not
sure if this is your card or kernel. Not even sure you are using ALSA
drivers now, but I'm sure there is a list for the OSS drivers too.

Check the source for the driver you are using. Look for contact information.
