  | | | Can I mount an old /var under WS 3 | Can I mount an old /var under WS 3 2004-02-23 - By Molina, Thomas (Contr)
Back One of the reasons my team leader bought a copy of RHEL WS 3 was to port
NISTNet (network simulation software) to run under it. In my current setup
I have /home, /usr/local, and /var mounted from a separate disk. The system
disk is in a removable caddy and switches between RH 8, 9 and Fedora Core.
I don 't see a problem with /home and /usr/local, but what about /var? Will
I clobber data by switching?
