Hi,

I just took a 4-year old notebook with 350Mhz Celeron processor and
installed Shrike on it. My problems:

- installing the WS standard system took some 9 h before it completed
- the system now works but at a speed that is comparable to appr. 25 MHz
processor speed
- KDE system satus looks OK, KDE system monitor shows no lack of
resources, no error entries in /var/log files either

Any ideas how I can locate the problem?

Pekka
