Since I live in a static-address world, this is just a guess at how to
release & renew your IP address:
service network restart
I've not even a guess on determining which dhcp server gave you the
address you have.

I'me running linux 7.2.can anyone tell me how to release and renew an
ip address..i have 2 dhcp servers running on the subnet how do I find
out which dhcp box has allocated my ip address.
