Netfilter Issue with 7.3- >EL3 Change

Hello,

I 'm upgrading our servers from RH 7.3 to RHEL ES3. I 've been having an
annoying problem with one of our boxes.

We have this box that does some NATing for us. We add IP aliases on
eth0 and DNAT to various machines based on those aliases. However,
because of our network topology, these both enter and exit on eth0.

With RH 7.3 and FC1 (we tested this on another machine), this was no
problem. With EL3, it looks like the PREROUTING chain (and, thus, the
NATing) is skipped and execution goes directly to the INPUT chain.

Is there a way to turn off this (I 'm guessing) optimization? If not,
any suggestions as to how to work around this problem (while still
sticking with EL3 and, hopefully, using the stock EL3 kernel)?

Thanks,
pete
