Another reason I appreciate having the manual ship with the server is so
I know that
I have manual which describes my version of the server. Working on a
PHP 4.0.x
or 4.1.x site when the manual at www.php.net was describing later
releases (e.g. 4.2
or 5.0) could be a pain sometimes....

If it 's not too much trouble, please bring back the manual.
