Back Do not disable the IP address 127.0.0.1 as it is used internally. This address is used when a client task running locally needs to talk to a server class within the same machine.
It is the address assigned to the loop back interface. It is used in unexpected ways. The X-server uses it to communicate with the local tasks in a desktop machine. The system uses it to contact the logger daemon. If you run a database such as postgresql or mysql these listen on a port on this address for internal connections. It is also handy to use for testing command operation but this is not its primary purpose.
Hope this helps
