Network installation errors

Network installation errors

I 'm trying to do a network installation but am not having much luck. These
are the messages I get. On terminal 1, I get the message:

Unable to retrieve http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/RedHat/base/netstg2.img
< http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/RedHat/base/netstg2.img >

On terminal 3, these are the last messages:

* transferring http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/RedHat/base/updates.img
< http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/RedHat/base/updates.img > to fd

* transferring http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/disc1/RedHat/base/updates.img
< http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/disc1/RedHat/base/updates.img > to fd

* transferring http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/RedHat/base/product.img
< http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/RedHat/base/product.img > to fd

* transferring http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/disc1/RedHat/base/product.img
< http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/disc1/RedHat/base/product.img > to fd

* transferring http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/RedHat/base/netstg2.img
< http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/RedHat/base/netstg2.img > to fd

* transferring http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/disc1/RedHat/base/netstg2.img
< http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/disc1/RedHat/base/netstg2.img > to fd

My server is a Dell PowerEdge 2650. I 'm using the RHEL 3 disc 1 to initially
boot the server. At the RedHat "boot: " prompt, I 'm entering the command:

linux ks= http://192.168.5.188/RHEL3/kickstart/ks_myserver.cfg

The kickstart file exists and the messages on terminal 3 prior to the ones I
listed above suggest the installation can see and read the kickstart file.
If I boot the server into rescue mode, I can use wget to retrieve the
netstg2.img file, so I know it exists and is visible to the installation.
The messages suggest the image files are being copied to a floppy drive?

What don 't I know?

Thanks!

Andrew Robinson
