Hi all,
We are with a problem that have already be presented in some lists,
as in:
"We get this from time to time. It is due to a kernel bug. There is a
patch for it available from the IBM web site. I am at home now and I don 't
have the information with me.
Until we get the patch in we can usually circumvent it by stopping the
network interfaces (ifconfig down). removing the modules (rmmod qdio qeth),
re-adding the modules (insmod qdio qeth), and restarting the interfaces
(ifconfig). You will also need to reissue any route commands, etc. If
this doesn 't work we reboot.
It can also be circumvented by changing from a hypersockets guest LAN to a
QDIO guest LAN. We chose not to do that as we are planning to go to a real
hypersockets LAN soon. "
My question is: Is this patch, and others from developerworks (IBM), added during RHEL updates or not ?
TIA,
Luis.
