Hi,
For people interested in Firefox 1.0 for RHEL3: I just made a
port of the Fedora Core 3 rpm available for X/OS Linux (which
is our RHEL3 rebuild):
http://download.xoslinux.org/pub/xoslinux/3/i386/updates/XOS/RPMS/firefox-1.0-2.fc3.XOS.1.i386.rpm
(Note: ftp access is possible too, using the same host and path.)
This package should work fine on RHEL3, although we only tested it
on X/OS Linux. If you want to rebuild the Firefox source package
yourself on RHEL3, the source rpm is available from:
http://download.xoslinux.org/pub/xoslinux/3/i386/updates/SRPMS/firefox-1.0-2.fc3.XOS.1.src.rpm
When rebuilded on RHEL3, the generated rpm will automatically include
the standard Red Hat bookmarks i.s.o. the X/OS ones (and that is the
only difference with the binary package provided by us).
