  | | | SNMP monitoring of HP Proliant server running RHEL3 | SNMP monitoring of HP Proliant server running RHEL3 2004-11-25 - By Tim Edwards
Back Hi,
I 've installed the HP Systems Monitoring stuff (the hpasm RPM,
net-snmp-cmaX etc.) on a RHEL3 server running on HP Proliant ML350 G3
hardware. I can access the System Management Homepage and see all the
right info there but I can 't work out how to access this info through
SNMP. The SNMP server on that machine seems to only show the basic stuff
- no special Proliant specific stuff. The end goal of all this is to
integrate it with Nagios by having Nagios plugins retrieve information
from it via SNMP.
Has anyone had any experience with this stuff on RHEL3 before?
Thanks
Tim
