RHEL 3 and 3ware cards

RHEL 3 and 3ware cards

I am trying to find out if anyone has a solution off the top of their
heads for the 3ware/RHEL issue.

It seems that there is an IOWait problem(99-100% iowait) when it comes to
these cards and RHEL. I 've tried every solution provided in the bug
report for this problem, but each time, the IOwait issue still occurs

Have any of you seen this issue, and if so, what your workarounds?

Am I stuck with going the route of downloading and compiling an unsupport
kernel from kernel.org?

Thanks,
Brent
