Back oracle 9i rack and 10g include a clustering schema. (on solaris, it is a separate license and may be so on linux.) oracle clustering would replace veritas

RedHat ES + GFS RedHat ES + Oracle's OCFS RedHat ES + Veritas cluster FS Sparc boxes with Sun Cluster 3.1
I've seen issues with most of them :
ES3 + OCFS on EMC when it comes to snapshots.
OCFS isn't POSIX.
Veritas costs money.
Don't want to go down the sparc road because my price/performance ratio is blown out of the water.
ES + GFS, never used it.
Anybody have any brilliant ideas I can steal?
