Hello,

We have an application that links against the cyrus-sasl-2 which, under
some circumstances, loads a shared library that makes LDAP client
library calls.   Alas, the openldap libraries link against the
cyrus-sasl-1 libraries and when the as soon as the openldap libraries
call sasl_client_new() everything blows up.

I'm at a total loss to as to how to resolve this.   We can't use
cyrus-sasl-1 (it doesn't have the auxprop plugins) and there isn't
anyway that we can find to stop the openldap libraries from making SASL
calls that we can find.

Is there any chance of Red Hat shipping a version of OpenLDAP that links
against cyrus-sasl2?
