  | | | AHA2920A SCSI Controller | AHA2920A SCSI Controller 2004-12-15 - By Farmer, Mark
Back Hi everyone
I need to setup a test box to do some filesystem benchmarking so I installed
an Adaptec aha2920a scsi controller & attached an 18gb scsi drive to it.
In RH9 the card uses the fdomain driver which seems to be missing from RHEL3.
In RHEL3 if I do 'modprobe fdomain' the prompt comes back without error as if the driver was loaded but lsmod does not list it. Looking in '/lib/modules/2.4.21-20.ELsmp/kernel/drivers/scsi' on my nfs server (where I install RHEL3 from) the driver is not listed.
Has anyone got this card working in RHEL3 or know which driver I can use (if
any) or am I wasting my time, in which case i'll try a controller from home.
TIA
