Hi,

I have AMD64 system and after bunch of automatic updates I've got this:

[root@(protected) root]# rpm -q rpm
rpmdb: Program version 4.2 doesn't match environment version
error: db4 error(22) from dbenv->open: Invalid argument
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Invalid argument (22)
error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm
package rpm is not installed
[root@(protected) root]# rpm --rebuilddb
rpmdb: Program version 4.2 doesn't match environment version
error: db4 error(22) from dbenv->open: Invalid argument
error: cannot open Packages index
[root@(protected) root]# up2date -l
rpmdb: Program version 4.2 doesn't match environment version
error: db4 error(22) from dbenv->open: Invalid argument
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Invalid argument (22)
error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm

In /var/log/up2date I see info about updating (and then some more
packages):

'popt-1.8.2-13', 'rpm-4.2.3-13', 'rpm-libs-4.2.3-13', 'rpm-python-4.2.3-13'

But not up2date itself or db packages. This may be related to:
https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2004-501.html (...Upgrading to
db-4.2.52 internally to rpm...)

It seems that I have db version 3 and rpm expected version 4. But
--rebuilddb does not work...
