Looking back over the archives and bug reports, it appears that kickstart has never supported alternate port numbers.
How do you get around this? Well, if the webserver supports host headers, you might try configuring the webserver for multiple sites, and direct the URL you're using for the install to a different DocumentRoot for the installs (in Apache, this is in the "<VirtualHost>" directive block). Alternately you might want to try using an NFS or FTP install. That will prevent a conflict between your live website and the installation subsystem. -- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- -- - Rick Stevens, Senior Systems Engineer rstevens@(protected) - - VitalStream, Inc. http://www.vitalstream.com - - - - "You think that's tough?
