Hi,
  OK, so I just booted the machine up and I'm writing this email from
it so networking is working. When I first boot up wireless does not
come up automatically. I was in a rush to get the machine wrapped up
before Christmas so I made a script in root's account that starts
wireless for me. Unfortunately this requires that I log in as root and
run it by hand right now. I'd like to get that cleaned up in the next
week or two, but it's only a minor annoyance. Here's the script:
