MessageSo you can run dig form the system and you get results. Then I
think you should look at the configuration file. Unfortunately I have
forgotten how to do this and don't have access to a system right now but
please check the man pages.

   Lynx connects to the Internet directly...hence you need to make sure
you can reach the Internet check that your DNS is working or that your
/etc/resolv file has your ISP's DNS IP.

     Just downloaded lynx 2-8-5..I run it at the command prompt by typing
lynx url.I get a message In the window, making HTTP connection to
www.google.com ( for example) then the message goes on to say

     Alert ! : unable to connect to remote host
     Lynx : can't access startfile http://www.google.com/ any help
appreciated.
