Roll back to previous kernel

Roll back to previous kernel

Or just re-configure your boot loader ( if the kernel you wish is
still installed { rpm -qa | grep kernel } and works with what ever
else you have installed )  to boot the working kernel.

The thing that i'd worry about is that, redhat develops its software
to work with what it has. So, dependancies might not be met if you
revert back to such and older version of the kernel. I would ( however
stingently ) advise that you re-compile the kernel, if not from rpm
source, than from http://www.kernel.org source ( and VERY KARFULLY { K
being the Keyword here } you'll need a new mod-utils, etc for the 2.6
series. Just make sure you understand the process before you proceed,
rather than revert to a known vulnerable verion of the kernel; which
is my main point.
