I tried the command you listed with these results:
[root@(protected) tao]# growisofs -Z /dev/cdrom1 -R -J
mooch-u2-all-ia64- DVD.iso
Executing 'mkisofs -R -J mooch-u2-all-ia64-DVD.iso | builtin_dd
of=/dev/cdrom1 obs=32k seek=0'
INFO: ISO-8859-1 character encoding detected by locale
settings.
Assuming ISO-8859-1 encoded filenames on source
filesystem,
use -input-charset to override.
:-[ LBA=0h, SENSE KEY=5h/ASC=30h/ASCQ=5h ]
:-( write failed: Input/output error
Will this work better if I exchange my DVD+RW media for DVD-RW? Any
other ideas?
BTW, I searched the archives for "dvdrecord" and didn't find the message
you referenced. Does it not search all archived digests for taroon?
