Hi everybody.
Just two feedbacks for the redhat peopel if anyone can fix it in newer
releases.
First of all on U4 (also in U3 and before) the message that appear at
the begining of the installation
is wrong. It says:
"Press enter to intall or upgrade redhat linux in graphical mode"
<enter> always perform a full intall and never and upgrade, The user
need to type "linux upgrade" to
upgrade the installation. Also later when the installation is detected.
My older Update 3 is not recognized as a valid
installation. Is says that my systems look older that redhat linux 6.2,
and ask me to continue anyway.
The second one, when I recently upgraded to Update 4 I saw that named
stopped working and the reason seems
that named and named-checkconf looks for a dinamic library libdns.so.11
while the rpm package bind-libs-9.2.4-1_EL3
installs libdns.so.16. I really cannot understand how redhat has done
this mistake.
