  | | | Creating boot disk for AS U2 EM64T kickstart | Creating boot disk for AS U2 EM64T kickstart 2005-01-17 - By I-Skerritt, Shannon
Back Hi,
I am trying to create a floppy based kickstart install for a RHEL 3 AS U2 EM64T machine. I understand that I first need to create the boot disk, (then copy the ks.cfg file to the floppy) but I can't find bootdisk.img under the images/ directory on CD 1 anywhere.
I've done AS x86 based floppy kickstarts previously without problem, via 'cat bootdisk.img > /dev/fd0'. Is this possible under EM64T?
'linux ks=floppy' just seems to get ignored while booting from CD 1.
Any thoughts?
Shannon.
