Greetings everyone.....
I've been asked to convert a HP DL320 G2 from Windows to Linux. Linux doesn't see the virtual array point that I normally see when dealing with SCSI array controllers. I thought about just ignoring the IDE array controller, but I saw something in my Google searches that said the controller will attempt a RAID rebuild on reboot.
I also saw a mention of rebuilding the driver for the kernels that come with RHEL3, but I can't find anywhere to download the source for the driver or even a driver shim.
Is it possible to get linux working on this server or should I just give up?
What if I only install to the first drive and totally ignore the second drive?
