Is /dev/nvram supported for direct access to system BIOS? Certain
programs (tpb -- Thinkpad buttons) rely on /dev/nvram. I've never
gotten tpb to work on RHEL 3.
Using the volume buttons on my Thinkpad actually works, but I'd like to
get tpb + xosd (X on-screen display) working.
Has anyone seen if /dev/nvram works in FC3 or RHEL 4?
