Yes, I know that. I have followed the following process:

-Configure /etc/modules.conf with "alias scsi_hostadapter megaraid2"
-Install the new kernel via RPM (this builds a initrd image with megaraid2
driver in it)
-Reboot the server with the new kernel.

I've done this process in several of my servers (PERC 4/DC, PERC 4/Di, PERC 3
/Di
RAID controllers without any problems), but if fails in CERC ATA100/4Ch
controller.

In the boot process I see the megaraid2 driver to load, but after that it can't
access de disks. Using megaraid_2106.o (previous version, in
addon/megaraid_2106/megaraid_2106.o) works perfectly. Megaraid2 driver also
works well in taroon update 3. It is in Taroon 4 when the problem arises.

When I have the chance, I will include the messages the driver shows in the
boot
proccess, before failing.
