Hi,

We installed RHEL3 AS on a Dell 2650.

>From the beginning on, I got this message in /var/log/syslog :

Jan 21 13:51:31 sjfwb modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module n

Then I installed PowerChute's pbeagent-7.0.2-110, and then I also get these
messages :

Jan 21 13:51:31 sjfwb modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
char-major-19

Why is this ? I know I can get rid of them using 'alias <....> off' in
/etc/modules.conf, but I would like to understand where it comes from.

Thanks for any help.
